Fish Out of Water Designs has grown as a workroom & interiors shoppe out of a profound love for all things old - for quality heirlooms and creative restorations. As our design projects have evolved over time we have recognized a need to supplement clients' old beloved pieces with a sprinkling of new ones --- helping to marry one generation's style to the next --- giving interiors a timeless progression and an eclectic look. We love reinventing grandma's wingbacks to go with a client's new sleek sofa, pairing a mod ottoman with Dad's favorite club chair -- mixing diminutive, antique dining side chairs with modern captain's chairs.

Partnering with an incredible Hickory, North Carolina furniture manufacturer & workroom (yes this furniture is 100% Made in America - not just assembled here - like many who say "Made in America" but are building frames with imported materials!!) --- we are now thrilled to offer clients even greater selection and possibilities. NEVER DOWN BACK
