the nutshell timeline of a complicated evolution -

- grew up on a farm in the Ozarks

- went to undergrad in St. Louis

- went to law school in Chicago

- became a prosecuting attorney and did murder trials for several years

- quit.left town and moved to Savannah

- got a scholarship for MFA at SCAD

- started program

- dropped out and started my own design firm

- 10 years of projects & counting
